Schedules for the tournaments will be posted early this week. State tournaments are very different than other tournaments. Not only do they have the best teams in the state competing in one location in an age. Often this is the only time all these teams are all at the same event. State Tournaments also have strict rules on no guest players, and other clerical items that coaches and teams must adhere to. This year there are also a few new rules to keep in mind. Coaches this year must complete a Concussion online course. Also, new this year is that every player must have a Verified player card. Additional things that you must bring to check in this week are the Alliance 4 All form. Every player, coach and one parent must watch the Alliance 4 All video and initial this form. You also must have a team roster, copy of birth certificates, notarized medical releases, a game day roster from league play, and the verified player cards. Coaches must also have proof of having a D coaching licenses or above for Jr and State Cup tournaments, along with the concussion course certificate. For a list of everything to bring at check in visit the state website.
Good luck to all team playing State Cup this spring.
