FIRST SESSION WINTER INDOOR LEAGUE RESULTS

newspic2A seven Kansas City United teams won their indoor leagues, securing first place in games played in the waning days of December. Many other teams in the Club are making a strong showing at their mid season mark in either Futsal or the Outdoor Winter League.

At All American, the U14 Kansas City United Rangers boys, coached by Kem Thomas, went undefeated, capturing first place in the U14 Boys Premier 1st Division. Meanwhile the U11 Kansas City United Attack girls, coached by Brian Bright, avenged their only loss of the indoor season when they defeated the U12 Legends 6-3 to win the Championship of the U12 girls Select 1st Division.

Further south in Olathe at Simply Soccer, the U10 Kansas City United girls, coached by Jason Farmer, took home the U11 Championship with a record of seven wins, no losses and one tie. Not to be out done the U12 Kansas City United Santa Fe boys, coached by Dalio Mercado, took the U13 boys Championship with an unblemished 8-0 record. Finally, the U15 Kansas City United Santa Fe girls capped their indoor season taking second place in the U15 Division at Simply Soccer.

In other winter leagues, the U12 girls, coached by Jimmy Perez, are in first place at the midseason mark in the Super F Futsal League, while the U9 Spirit boys, coached by Shaun Slack are a point out of first in their U10 Fist Division Futsal League. The Kansas City United Attack U9 girls, coached by Nicole Ortiz and Alan Blinzler, are in 4th place, playing three years up in the U12 3v3 League at All American. In the Outdoor Winter League, the U16 boys are undefeated and currently in 2nd place in the High School Division.
